Apparently Elmer's glue is not just an item on a Kindergardener's school supply list. It makes elegant furniture paint! I have a table that is distressed and I painted my desk a glossy black. I would love to distress the black desk with Elmer's glue. You can find out how here. 

Since going Gluten free, I have felt better than ever! I have more energy and never think I am starving. This is a g-free recipe that I pinned since I LOVE avocados and corn. 

Pure geniusly creative. I want to meet the person that created this door. I have a good feeling that I will have a beautiful door like this at some point in my life. Sooner rather than later. 

Uh, sooo cute. That skirt would be soo easy to make if I couldn't find it anywhere to buy- 1. because I can't find where it came from and 2. I am not allowing myself to shop anymore. Banana Republic has taken over my closet.

I actually have this exact outfit sans the scarf. I can't wait to wear it this Fall!!! 

Modern, yet vintage. This is the best way to do black and white... with PATTERN and TEXTURE. 

I hope this was done with a stencil, or else I am real jealous. Also... just a tip, I have learned that with primer- you can paint ANY ANY ANY ANY THING!

The New Place.

Check out the new place... all alone in my studio. Sorry that the pictures aren't great, but you get the idea. Not bad for a law student budget.

Outta State, Outta Mind.

So if you have been wondering where I was for the last 3 days... I am back! I went to Memphis to move into my new place- solo. I will be living alone and I cannot wait. PLUS... that alone might turn into a pup by the end of the year if I would be so lucky. Anyway... I am completely moved in and the tiny, perfect studio is all set up. Wanna see? Okay! I will let you have a glimpse now and post some better, eek, iPhone photos later.

Last 7 Pinterest Saturday.

Happy Birthday Matthew! It's the boyfriend's birthday today... so I will be making brown sugar french toast, Reese's peanut butter individual cheesecake and making sure he feels special today. Then I'm off to MEMPHIS to move, again. Thankfully I have movers for 2 hours or else I think I would pass out the in Memphis heat. I'll try to take pictures of my masterpieces of cheesecake and post them soon. I might not be able to post until Tuesday or Wednesday but I will make-up for it. :) 

And now... my favorite blogging day of the week. Pinterest pins! 

The striped pillows and butterfly wall decor are my favorite parts of this room, but that is probably because everything else is white and cream. So they are the only parts that stand out. Although, the designer must have picked enough texture and shape to keep it interesting since this room is gorgeous.

Kendi never fails. This outfit is beautiful. I am going to take this idea into Fall... uh yea you heard me. I am planning to wear white pants past Labor Day! Oh and those are her Target shoes that are the best Target shoes in the world.

I actually really like this image because I want to try to paint a large canvas with this print and in these colors. Design Seeds is a fantastic website for picking out paint colors. Just pick one you like- then print the colors out that are displayed at the bottom and match the paint at the store to it. 

Green flowers. Yes! Also I love the handles on this bar stand. 

Ok, don't twist my arm or anything, I will decorate my closet to look just like this. The new apartment I am moving to  is a studio and the closet is bigger than the kitchen. So I think I will enjoy being in there. ha, so I better start decorating. 

These earrings are inspiration for my new collection of jewelry. Be excited. :)

Loving the Novogratz's.

For those of you who do not know the Novogratz- they are a HUGE amazing family living in NYC. Yea that is pretty great, but the best part is their EYE FOR DESIGN! They are my favorite. They work as a team, their children have wacky (but some of my favorite) names. My favorite names they picked out are Tullulah, Major, Breaker and Bellamy. Mmhmm... I am the girl that wants to name her kid Eugene and get him beat up a few times. Any way... I have this desire for modern, colorful bohemian and eclectic styles right now. They do this effortlessly. Enjoy!

Also... they have a new show on HGTV called Home. I don't think it is as fun as their last show since the kids are not involved in this one and they are HILARIOUS and ADORABLE.
