NY Times Article Must Read: LeanIn.org and Getty Aim to Change Women’s Portrayal in Stock Photos

If anybody out there is like me, you had no realization that the Internet is loaded with photos of inaccurately portrayed women. Have you seen the women eating salad while laughing meme? Me either.  Do I want to see that meme?  No.

Thank you Sheryl Sandberg for cashing in on your power, influence,  intelligence, and creativity to do something wonderful.
For those of you clueless as to who she is,  Sandberg is the CEO of Facebook and author of one of the best books I've read about business titled "Lean In." I cannot recommend it enough. In fact, if you have Kindle- send me a message and I'll electronically lend it to you!! MUST READ! If nothing else, check out her blog.

"Tumblr" On Over For Inspiration.

Due to my overwhelming desire to seek out gorgeous color combos, prints, patterns, textures, and designs, I needed to showcase my collection somewhere. I created a new tumblr page. Feel free to use it for design, artwork, craft color-combo inspiration. Personally, I think it comes in handy when picking out accessories for my outfits in the morning. "Oh! I'll wear an orange necklace with my black and white striped tank today!" See those blobby-crab spots of orange on the newspaper down there... That's it; you got it!
