BFF Weekend.

I had one of the best 4th of July weekends ever this year-- why? One of my best friends got engaged on the day she came to TN for the Taylor Swift concert- where our seats happened to be basically on the stage, and then along with our other BFFs, we celebrated all weekend.
The happy couple- Brittany and Andy. My mock-up pose of what Andy looked like. Then we took the new fiance to get a shellac manicure. (Shellac is the best thing ever- it has been days and it still looks like I just walked out of the salon with a fresh manicure!
Next we booted up and headed to see Taylor Swift! (That is Amber, my other best friend, on the right.)

Best concert- she was sick and still sounded amazing. Oh and... I am sick right now too. Coincidence? No- bc she held my hand that night. jk!
Alright, so after Taylor Swift held all of our hands for a moment and rocked our boots off (literally bc we were so hot in them we had to take them off) we had to celebrate the engagement with a girls night... ???... it was so fun though!

So... to make a long story short- I was with Brittany one day probably 4 years ago when this man (the rose selling man in Knoxville) walked up to her, handed her a free rose, and then told her that if God were a woman then she would be a red-head. Ba-haha. So, it was fate that we ran into him on her celebration night. I love this picture since he covered his face with the roses.

Now... we had to take Brittany back to her fiance in Asheville, NC where he was camping before their trek back to Jacksonville, FL. It is one of the trendiest cities that I have been to in a long time. I cannot believe that Asheville, NC is only 90 minutes away and I have been missing out on its coolness. Gah.
AS SOON AS WE STEPPED FOOT INTO THE CITY, Tara's (our other BFF) shoe broke!!! Yup, so that should explain the next 3 photos... especially the bottom one where she is the one walking barefoot in the street. heehee.
I felt like there were about 5 or 6 wig shops in Asheville and I see why! How fun is this?! Apparently Rolling Stone magazine named Asheville the coolest city in the US at some point in time. Pretty cool.

Everywhere you go, there is something interesting and artistic. I LOVED it.
Vintage, antique shopping!! I shoulda been born in the 1920s. Oh well.... I still get to look!

We ate at a restaurant called LAB (Lexington Avenue Brewery). I don't think the beer is the only thing bringing people in... LOOK AT THIS FOOD!

Street performers were everywhere... no clue what purpose this lady had, she was supposed to be a statue.
Then there was the screaming nun-man on a tall bike. Odd. He made us laugh though!

And, just for Matthew, the BF... I am going to make him go to Asheville and I can shop while he rock climbs! Oh, why does Knoxville not have this in their downtown shopping district?!
Thank you to everyone that made my weekend such a blast! I love you.

Love.

Check out the Samantha Kay Jewelry Ghost Buster Earrings on one of the most amazing blogs!!!

Have a Seat. Stay a While.

Sofas are overrated. Get an awesome chair- they are cheaper, smaller so they can be moved to any room at any time, and they look so much better... don't believe me? Look....
Okay, so the sofa is pretty cool, BUT this chair is so much more awesome. And I know this post is about chairs, but don't miss that fireplace! Love

Well, this chair makes me want to sit there. It looks so comfy and bright.

Beautiful chair in a beautiful room- I bet the sofa is beige and boring. Jk.

This chair adds another layer of fabric and print to the room which makes the whole room come together as an eclectic blue and funky space. It just wouldn't be the same if that chair were brown.

This chair is so beautiful that it doesn't need a room to look good. Put it ANYWHERE.

It would have been so tempting to add a plain black chair to this rocker room, but no, they went with feminine blue floral and it makes the room MORE rocker chic! So smart!!

These chairs may seem a little boring compared to the previous ones, but they made them incredible with their background. Now, the wallpaper becomes part of the chair with that little cut out detail to make the chairs appear to have cushions in awesome color. This is such a well designed space.

Elegance in a chair. The wood frame is stunning on its own. You could move this chair to any room in any house and it would work beautifully.

One of my favorite chairs! It reminds me of a well-tailored men's suit- when worn it brings sophistication.

When your room is white- you need bold contrast somewhere to make a statement or everything just blends in, but they added this bright colored chair with that graphic rug and it is stellar. (Can I use that word?!!)

The shape of this chair should be the first thing to catch your eye, but it isn't! Which is great, now it is the stripes and the shape. Double-whamy! Yes!!!

Another chair that doesn't need a room to look good. Great fabric! I want to reupholster the world in that fabric. I wonder how expensive it was... the world needs it.

Match my chair to my curtains? Okay! I want this chair right now. I need this chair. They definitely pulled this room together with those risky curtains by matching the chair. Oh and I bet they saved money on the upholstering since they had the fabric already. :)

I love that they used black and white chair in a pastel room. I am not sure how comfortable it is to sit with a chandelier, but no judgement. Beautiful.

Vintage Chic.

An antique piano, vintage looking sofa, and colorful fabrics. I love it. I want brown leather sofa and bright aqua pillows and curtains.

The mismatched furniture in this room combined with the soothing green walls and modern lamp and chair make this a very eclectic room and its perfect.

I have run accross this room on so many blogs and that is because it is soooo amazing. I would live here. The lanterns on the side table and the rug with white poof are my favorite parts.

Last 7 Pinterest Saturday.

It IS a little past Saturday so we need to call this The Last 7 Pinterest "Sunday." Too bad! Enjoy it any way.
I cannot eat these, but that does not mean I wouldn't make them. Mmm and ooh- pretty!

This is a Home Depot DIY. So easy and so pretty! If somebody wants a career in selling mirrors--- have at it!!!

The amazing abstract and pastel art is definitely in a little girls bedroom, but I would put it in my room---- little girl at heart. <3

An art piece I found that I love. I want to find a perfect abstract, bright, and multi-colored piece of art. At a reasonable/low price!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Stunning... gorgeous.... perfect..... beautiful.... VINTAGE 1925 Tiffany & Company engagement ring with black onyx. I can't imagine anything better. I also can't say it would look good on my hand, but wow it is pretty. I was born in the wrong time period.

I wish this were me in the photo. I want a comfy couch to lay on with 2 fluffy dogs. Smiling really big right now.

If I get to take a girls' beach trip this summer then I am going to make them pose with me. . . I have lots of pictures from my amazing weekend with the girls THIS weekend. I will show you soon!!

Wishing.

I wish I could take the place of these women... I  want an outdoor wine session with all my friends right about NOW- yes, 10am on a Friday morning. In fabulous clothes of course. In order to make that happen, I bought second row Taylor Swift concert tickets, made reservations at an italian restaurant, and bought fake eyelashes... now... what to wear?
