Oo La La.

Florals are the greatest print ever, in my opinion. Let's wear florals on our nails? Ok!!!

There is NO way I could paint that into my nails. I promise you I will try. LC can do it because she gets to pay an artist to try. Boo.

Might be able to pull off this look... preciously beautiful. I love nails and being a girl!

Kiddi-yos.

This little girl in the image has my hair! My room was NOT that cool- I had light blue walls with turquoise splatter paint. In the early 90s- that was cool. Notice how the decorator used a large euro pillow on the twin bed. That is the perfect size for comfortableness.

Lime green walls and white bedding- perfect. I love the art above the bed- it doesn't match with anything in the room and that is what makes it so perfect. Also, notice the flowers- I would never think to add flowers to a kids room. Great idea!

Pink, pink, pink... it is what you would expect. However, it is so many different shades of pink, like salmon and red that it looks fabulous.

Blue is my favorite! And it isn't for a boy, love love love! I will make sure that lighted tree goes into every kids room.

Got twins? Pink, blue, yellow... and even the gold accents match the yellow bedding. My heart melts. Somehow they even make a pile of stuffed animals look great!

Technical Difficulties.

I have a great post lined up about kids rooms... blogger is NOT cooperating with me though. Photos will not load onto the actual post. Hmm...

Colors. Colors.

I wish I could easily share with you all my color inspiration collection. Because I love colors and textures and materials so much, the images I find with beautiful colors are always of items and patterns, etc. They are absolutely stunning- to me. So here are some that I think inspire tranquility. ahh...
Soon, I will be growing these succulents in my home. Everywhere

This must be frost during sunset or sunrise, because I've never seen frost this beautiful before. Oh wow, a jewelry collection inspired by frost. Love it.

I love to eat them, now I love to look at them.

More of my favorite plant? flower? cactus? what are these guys?

Interneting.

Like that? I made up a word. Interneting. Anyway... I've noticed that you all are missing out on my other inspiration sites that have so so so many more beautiful photos... over there on the right side of the screen >>> you can click on the "Pinterest" "Facebook" "Tumblr" and "Twitter". Let me tell you what to expect so you can start with what you'll like the most.

Pinterest is a website that allows you to literally pin any picture on the internet into a board and it holds your image for you- forever. It also marks the website you pinned it from so you can link back to it in an instant. Pretty cool- I know!!!  This is the website I post from every Saturday, since I pin so much every day it is like a slot machine as to what the last seven images will be on Saturday mornings.

Facebook, of course you all know, will give you more photos of my jewelry, but it also will have promotions and special updates. I also post "action" shots on the new pieces I am working on. It is also a really easy way to share me with your friends- if you want to.

Tumblr is a photo blog site that works similar to Pinterest except that you can post words and quotes and videos and links, etc. Anything and everything- I'd like to begin hosting a video blog on there once a week about how to make jewelry or DIY projects. Stay tuned!!

And Twitter- my favorite! This is just a list of random thoughts and interactions with my favorite people ALL OVER THE WORLD... I literally can communicate my thoughts to Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift- so join Twitter yourself so you can share your thoughts too! I want to hear them!!!!

Kate Spade vs. Anthropologie

It is always so hard for me to pick one style- that is NORMAL. Even though, it is ok, I still wish I could have one style, because I feel like it would make like easier since shopping could be done in a snap. Oh well...  do you all like Anthropologie or Kate Spade better... in other words do you like a lot of colors working well together in small amounts or do you like a few bright and bold colors?  I can't decide either...
Old world charm. Antique details and unique ideas in muted colors.

This is wallpaper!!! A feature wall in the living room with a white sofa and bright pillows- that's my style.

Soft white texture with beautiful pastel prints. This is basically what my bedroom looks like now. Add some tan and gold.  Yup, that's my room

Gorgeous floral art used as a notebook. I can't imagine how beautiful these would look stacked along with other books in a shelf.
Water-colored art, antique rugs, ornate wood fireplace, distressed tables, leather sofas- I want to live in this room.
Whimsical, colorful, and bold.

Pink, black, white. Crisp and whimsy. Ahhhhh!!!

Bright pink, with a bold print, and black. Catching the theme of the "Kate Spade" style? It's the boldness of the patterns that I love

Word of this style, Bold. Bold and large green and white stripes contrasted with a bright pink towel. Simple, and it still makes a statement.

Floral and striped 'thank you' cards. I think I will order these. I want to decorate some part of my new apartment with bold flowers and stripes thanks to this stationary.
Colors galore. Like a rainbow on the floor [my sad attempt at a rhyme.]

Last 7 Pinterest Saturdays.

Alright, I'll confess, I really like white and teal. There, you know my secret. The chairs' wood frames with contemporary style coordinate perfectly to me with the rustic wood table stand. Modern art pulls this eclectic style together!

Cream. Honeysuckle. Baby Blue. Even her nails are light pink. Perfect outfit for a luncheon.

Lace shorrrrrrrttttttsssssssss. To-die-for outfit. The navy and denim are the perfect match for lace shorts- it is like wearing a lace top with jeans- just flipped upside down. My goal is wear a clutch with a day outfit this summer.

The texture of the grass in the background make this old pink bicycle look smooth and new again. Flowers make everything  prettier

VELVET BLUE CHAIRS WITH SILVER PULLS... I CANT CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT!!!!!  Loving the candlesticks too- twisted silver- and tall.

I like the editing of this photo. They have played with the lighting and exposure, its darker and has a green/blue tone to it. Cute for piano players, to frame and place on their piano.

Not sure WHAT this girl is doing- fixing her bracelet? yea. Staring at a wall? yea. Posing for the camera? no.
She is pretty, though.

Odds-n-Ends.

I collected a snapshot of all of my favorite textures and colors and collections. I thought this would be a great idea to have in front of me when I start collecting my next batch of jewelry supplies so that I can keep things more uniform and more me
Apparently, I like natural wood, pinks and blues and white, ruffles and bows, thin curved metal, leather and lace, and bold graphic prints. Yup! I sure do. [oh, and fluffy dogs.] What do you all like?

Apple Genius.

I am sure you all have seen these vinyl decals for the Apple computers... but I just love them. I only have an iPad and not a macbook. Apple Sauce is the company, and they will custom make it for you- to fit almost any Apple device. Yay for them!  This is just another one of those products somebody created that make me happy.

Jewelry to Know and Love.

Fellow Tennessean, Becca Belz, has beautiful taste and makes fantastic jewelry. I heard about her and her designs through a friend in my law school class, and she was a part of my inspiration to make my passion into a potential career. As you can see here, she has done the same. I think the best part of her jewelry is that it is the perfect type to wear with everyday casual outfits, but the same piece also looks incredibly awesome when dressing up. You can see more of her pieces on her facebook page. The best news is that Anthropologie has picked up some of her pieces!!! Congrats girl- you inspire me. Can't wait to meet you back in Memphis sometime!
The chains she uses are so pretty on their own, it was so smart to feature them.

I would wear these every single day. Love.

The colorrrrrs... the texturrrrre... adore

Brush 101.

I love The Beauty Department. I even worked in cosmetics once upon a time and still I was never 100% confident in my choices for what to use when I put on my make-up. There is a saying though, if something isn't easy to do it is because you have the wrong tool. IT IS SOOO TRUE! Study  this and make-up will get easier.
Maybe I will NEVER have to use those concealer brushes- ha! I am actually on my way out to buy the right kind now, no WONDER I never liked how the concealer was going on. hmpf!

Dad's Day.

Don't forget Father's Day is this weekend!!! My dad always liked fishing - we had a few of them on the wall like the one below- now who knew all I had to do was paint it ONE color to make it look sooo CHIC!! I hope these can inspire a great gift for dad- or just GREAT design.
If I still had one of my dad's fish- I'd paint her bright blue and hang her in an all white kids room. Fun fun fun!
These little dishes are at Pier 1, and you can use them for anything... butter dish on Dad's day? Yes! To keep his coins in- Yes!

Pottery Barn never fails me, these are adorable!!!! GET ONE FOR HIS GRILL!

I think these are beautiful. They would look so nice in a kitchen or even outside on a patio by a poolSource.

Let's Make a Tag.

I just think these are beautiful. I would even frame them. Why do I love these tie-dye things? Because they can incorporate so many colors and shades on paper... paper is my new favorite material. The material of the day. Ha, maybe I can incorporate that into my posts everyday. Not a bad idea. So, are we thinking that with some watercolor paper, watercolor paint, water, and a paint brush that I could make these magical tags? Or we could just order them here: http://prettyarty.bigcartel.com/product/tags-aquarelle
